Today I have something special to give you true Christmas cheer and will be perfect for a party or you know, for yourself!!!!  Today is a recipe...but not any old recipe....it's for CHRISTMAS PUNCH ! You read that right. Get yourself down to the supermarket when they have special prices on spirits and stock up for all your Christmas punches and cocktails! Its healthy as well as it is plant based!!!!! Mwhahaha! First grab yourself one of the following. I'm guessing your choice of vessel depends upon how posh you are!!!! (joking) Now grab yourself some ingredients! You are going to make enough for 8 thirsty people! 450 mls whiskey (if your guests are drunk use cheap stuff , they will never know!) 300 mls Benedictine, 600 mls Cranberry juice, 150 mls Clementine juice, (it goes soooo well with the cranberry) ...

IT'S BLOGMAS! Oh my am I excited! I have so much up my sleeve for you from now until Christmas Eve I can barely bend my arm!!! Day 1! Some of you Savvy 'n' Sassy readers have shared your stories and I am delighted to share them with you. Thank you. I found my love decades ago but we didn't marry until I was 50! Elaine and John found love after 50 after meeting at a dance. Did you know that in the UK over 51% of the population of England and Wales are single? Twenty three million people are divorced, widowed or never married. That's a lot of fish in that big sea! As more women over 50 find themselves single through choice or not, the subject of finding love again is one that needs discussing. There's so much advice for the under 50s but naff all for the "overs"! ...

Helloooooooo! I hope today’s blog finds you happy, healthy and focussing on the positive. Today I am writing about putting back gratitude into your attitude! A lesson I learned last week! Grat -i-tude ( noun) - being thankful, an expression of thanks. indebtedness, grateful, thanks, appreciation, recognition, acknowledgement, credit . Time passes, days pass, some far too quickly, some drag. All are just days. Or are they? There are some periods of 24 hours in the year that we give special names to …. Christmas Day, Yom Kippur, Diwali, Eid al- Fitr amongst many others and we celebrate these times with gusto. Think about all the effort we put into arranging and enjoying these days.
