INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY - WHAT WILL YOU DO? COME JOIN ME!

Helloooooooo!
With #InternationalWomensDay just a week away, I've begun planning what I will be doing to highlight the role of women in society.
This year the theme is "gender parity". On an academic level we know what it means but we need to see it put into action!
A great starting point for my plans is the IWD 2018 website. I have already made a pledge. Here is the screenshot:-

There are various pledges you can make and work on throughout the year. I think its a fabulous way to chip away at the gender parity problem that exists and getting results for not only us but our daughters, nieces, mothers, granddaughters and so the list goes on.

If you want to learn a little more click the video link below. It's succinct and inspiring.

Keep an eye out on the Savvy 'n' Sassy Blog for lots more about how we can make life better for women and girls throughout the world!

Why not take a pledge and post a screenshot of your choice on the Savvy 'n' Sassy Facebook Page

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Helloooooooo! F ancy some tingles?! Welcome back to the  Savvy 'n' Sassy blog. I hope today finds you well and excited for the weekend. According to the weather forecast we are in for snow here in London, so I shall dig out the thick socks again just in case! no image credit available Todays' blog is all about ASMR. I cam across ASMR just last week when I was watching  the awesome Stef Sanjati doing a parody video which was hilarious. It was, lets be fair, parodying ASMR videos that can be found on You Tube. It got me interested! What exactly is ASMR? The acronym stands for autonomous sensory meridian response. This means in layman's terms that it is all about a tingling response that begins in the scalp, works its way down the back of your neck and into the upper part of your spine. Those who experience it claim it is li...
